McCall Mountain/Canyon Flying Seminars provides an educational introduction
to the special type of airmanship skills and knowledge needed to operate
safely in the unique environment of the mountain and canyons in the Idaho
and Utah backcountry.

Mountain Canyon Flying is based at McCall Airport (MYL) in McCall,
Idaho. This is the ideal launching point for instruction and excursions
in the Idaho Backcountry, with Hell's Canyon (the deepest in North
America), Sawtooth Recreational Area, and the Frank Church River of No
Return Wilderness Area all within easy reach. Not to mention,
outstanding, beautiful, and challenging backcountry flying. Our CFI's
collectively have over 80 years and over 50,000 hours of commercial
flying experience, including an estimated 20,000 hours flying as charter
pilots, United States Forest Service pilots, and flight instructors in
